Adrienne Farquhar, MBA, Sales Representative
Our team leader, Adrienne is a driven and vibrant person who is very generous and loves to help other people. She has a solid knowledge of the Toronto market, excellent negotiation skills and an extensive network of clients and friends.
Adrienne grew up in Humber Valley Village and went to French immersion school. She studied International Politics at the University of Guelph and then went on to do her MBA in Business at the University of Glasgow in Scotland. She is married and lives in High Park with her husband Aly. They have a cottage in Muskoka that they love to enjoy year round. In the summer they swim and play golf and winter is reserved for roaring fires, skiing and ice skating. They love to travel and have even started a list of all of the countries they have visited (Aly is still in the lead!).
Adrienne is an active member of many real estate groups including the Urban Land Institute, Fellowship of Young Real Estate Professionals of Toronto, Great Minds of Real Estate and more recently, a contributing member of Profit Central.
Tasi Farquhar, Sales Representative
A great role model, Tasi has been helping people to realize their real estate dreams for the past 25 years. Her genuine interest in “doing what’s best” for her clients is her mantra. Her objective is to provide “education” and “opportunities” to her clients. She says the best part of her job is getting to meet people and know that she can make a difference in their lives. Over her career, Tasi has received a Lifetime Achievement Award for her consistent placing in the top realtor rankings.
Tasi enjoys spending time with her family and playing with her grandchildren, Maddy & Jakey who are an endless source of joy and wonder. She is an avid golfer and is learning (for the past 6 years) to play bridge. She enjoys walking, especially to local restaurants because then she feels she deserves her meal, reading just before bedtime…lucky if she gets in 10 mins. before falling asleep, entertaining friends (eating good food and drinking a good wine is always a pleasure) and traveling.
Norm Farquhar, Broker
Norm's charm and love of people is a perfect fit with real estate. Norm's business background includes over 20 years in the corporate world through sales and marketing, culminating as Vice President-Quality, for a major global corporation. His business acumen, sales and marketing savvy have added an empathetic impact to our client circumstances. Norm says his ten years in real estate have flown by and looks forward to continuing to help clients.
Norm is a family man who has been married to his life partner and business associate Tasi for 40 years! He and Tasi have 3 wonderful daughters. Norm loves to entertain family, friends and associates...good food, good friends, good times, good life! He is passionate about golf, travel, with a little bridge thrown in for good measure.
Sarah Eby, Sales Representative
Sarah is a driven and enthusiastic sales representative. Her passion for helping buyers find a home is what makes the difference in her clients' experience working with her. When it comes to real estate, Sarah's guiding belief is that she is finding her clients a home and not just a house. After 10 years of working for Molson Coors Canada, Sarah brings with her a tremendous skill set rooted in communication, negotiation, marketing and sales. These skills combined with her solid understanding of how to create a positive customer experience is what sets Sarah apart from many; it is what makes her an asset to our team and an asset to buyers.
Sarah grew up in Thorncrest Village and attended Humber Valley and Richview Collegiate. She then went on to Wilfred Laurier University where she earned a degree in Communication Studies. Sarah recently sold her condo downtown and bought an older home with her boyfriend Darren in South Etobicoke. Pretty exciting!
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys running, playing the guitar and cooking.
Shaista Khan, Client Care Coordinator
Shaista is a recent addition to the team. Her bright and friendly nature along with her desire to help and serve others makes her a great candidate for the Client Coordinator position. With a background in English & Communication, and a desire to learn new things, Shaista aims to brings value to the Farquhar team. With her previous experience of serving national and international clients at DHL Express, and at the Region of Halton, she is eager to take on exciting new challenges.
Shaista loves to be around her friends and family and her two cats, Simba and Mano. She is devoted to working hard, traveling far, and reading as many books as she can in the next few years now that she has finished her studies at the University of Toronto.
Leslie Darling, Marketing Co-ordinator
Leslie has been a member of our team since 2006 using her technical skills and writing/creative abilities to augment the Farquhar Team. She is our Marketing Coordinator and recent Social Media guru. She has a background in digital imaging, web design and finance from Western, York & Humber College. She purports to enjoy the variety and ever changing requirements of the job.
Leslie and her husband, Jim, have two daughters and a Jack Russell Terrier (their second, they love the breed). They have lived in the Humber Valley area for the past 30 years. Leslie likes to spend time with extended family, friends, walking through the neighbourhood or "mucking" in the garden. She's an enthusiastic cook (family & friends will attest to successes and failures) and enjoys traveling.
